Varsity Season Recap:

After tying the record for the most wins in school history during the 2023-2024 season, the Saraland Lady Spartans Varsity Basketball team were on a mission to be the most successful Girl's basketball team our school and community has seen to date. 

The Lady Spartans finished the 2024-2025 season with a 20-9 record, the 6A-Area 1 regular season Champions, hosted the 6A-Area 1 tournament, and competed in the 6A Sub-Regional round of the AHSAA state tournament. Your Saraland Varsity Program had victories over 7A Baker High School, Davidson HS, Robertsdale and Bryant HS. They were victorious over 6A opponents Spanish Fort, Gautier, Baldwin County, Blount, Murphy, and Theodore High Schools. Your Spartans also defeated Cottage Hill,  B.C. Raine, Jackson High, Ums-Wright, and Perry Central (MS).  Led by three Class of 2025 Seniors, Destinee Davis, Shakira Williams, and Sadie Knight the Lady Spartans competed in the AHSAA play-off for the first time in school history. 

The Lady Spartans will have 9 returning Varsity members from this record setting year--

 Juniors: Raine Lofton and Ja'kayla Taylor

Sophomores: Gabbie Black, Kaydence Feltman, Bryleigh Goff, Allie Parker Little, Lulu McDondald, Elle Roberts, and Aniya Southall

 

JVG Season Recap:

The Saraland Lady Spartans JV Girls Basketball team had an outstanding season, finishing with an impressive 10-2 record. After dropping their season opener, the team went on a dominant nine-game winning streak, showcasing their resilience and determination. With 10 new players on the 14-member roster, the team quickly built chemistry and developed into a formidable squad. Their season was filled with thrilling come-from-behind victories, proving their grit and competitive spirit. Exciting to watch and full of potential, the Lady Spartans demonstrated that the future is bright for Saraland Girls Basketball.
