News & Announcements

2025-2026 Registration

Parents must complete the mandatory online pre-registration before attending in-person registration. This can be done conveniently from home, work, or a mobile device to help avoid delays on registration day. Any updates to the online registration portal, including snapcodes, will be shared this summer.

Once online registration is complete, please bring the following items on your student’s designated registration date:

  • A parent/guardian driver’s license

  • Three (3) proofs of residency:

    • One must be a mortgage, deed, or lease agreement

    • Two must be utility bills

Email or faxed proofs will NOT be accepted. Copies of your original documents will be made on-site at registration. 

REGISTRATION DATES (We will be closed for lunch from 11:30-12:30). 

Tuesday, July 29         Seniors/Juniors 8:00am-3:00pm 

Wednesday, July 30   Sophomores/Freshmen 8:00am-3:00pm 

Thursday, July 31       Make-Up (All grades) 8:00am-3:00pm 

Thursday, July 31       New Student Night          6:00pm-7:00pm

Registration Fees Information
At the time of registration, students will be required to pay a general registration fee of $45, along with any outstanding balance noted on the student’s account statement, which is included with this correspondence.

Payments can be made in advance at PayPAMS.com. If you choose to pay early, please bring proof of payment to registration.

Available payment options on PayPAMS include:

  • Outstanding Fees

  • Registration Fee

  • Parking Fee (optional)

A list of applicable course fees will be provided at registration and will become available on PayPAMS beginning August 22. Be sure to review the student’s schedule to ensure you are paying the correct course fees.

2023 School of Distinction

Saraland High School was named a 2023 School of Distinction AND a 2023 Banner School at the CLAS (Council for Leaders in Alabama Schools) awards presentation.  With 240 schools across Alabama submitting applications, only the top 32 were honored.  SHS was selected as District 5's 2023 Banner School for their outstanding program, "More than a CRI - Spartans Graduate College and Career Ready".

A new day is dawning...

Mr. Scott Croley was named Saraland High School Principal, succeeding Dr. Brent Harrison who will begin his tenure as Superintendent on June 1, 2024.  Mr. Croley has over 20 years experience in education, 13 of which as a Spartan.  Mr. Croley has held multiple positions in Saraland to include teacher, instructional partner, and assistant principal - each building a foundation for success in his new role.
